WRefund and Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: 04.11.2026
At Travel Trip Online ("we," "us," or "our"), we operate as a facilitator by connecting users with airlines, hotels, bus operators, and other travel service providers ("Service Providers"). Our policy on cancellations and refunds follows the specific rules of these Service Providers, along with our own applicable service fees.
1. General Policy and Facilitator Role
Service Provider Rules Govern:
All cancellations and refunds are governed by the respective fare rules, cancellation policies, and refund timelines set by each Airline, Hotel, Bus Operator, or Tour Operator for the service you booked.
Our Role:
Our responsibility is limited to processing your booking and forwarding your cancellation/refund request to the relevant Service Provider. Refunds can only be issued after we receive the corresponding amount from the Service Provider.
Non-Refundable Fee:
A convenience fee charged at the time of booking is non-refundable and will not be included in any refund amount.
Service Fee:
In addition to the Service Provider’s cancellation charges, Travel Trip Online may levy a service fee for handling cancellation requests. This fee will be deducted from the final refund amount.
2. Cancellation Process
Cancellation Medium:
All cancellation requests must be made online through the “My Trips” or “Manage Booking” section on the Travel Trip Online website or mobile app. If a cancellation is made directly with the Service Provider, the user must notify us immediately to ensure smooth refund processing.
Timing:
Refund eligibility depends on the time of cancellation in relation to the departure or check-in date. Late cancellations attract higher penalties.
No-Show Policy
No refund will be provided in the case of a “No-Show,” where the traveler fails to check in or use the service, as per the Service Provider’s terms.
3. Specific Product Cancellation Rules
A. Flights
Refunds follow the airline’s fare rules and cancellation penalties for the specific ticket type (e.g., Saver, Flexi).
Certain promotional or discounted fares may be fully non-refundable.
Government taxes may be refundable, subject to airline policy.
No refund applies to partially used tickets (e.g., one-way leg utilized).
B. Hotels
Hotel cancellation charges depend on the property’s policy and room type (refundable or non-refundable).
Many hotels charge a fee equivalent to one night’s stay or the full booking amount if canceled within 48–72 hours of check-in.
Non-refundable or last-minute bookings are not eligible for refunds.
C. Tour Packages
Due to multiple pre-booked services, holiday package cancellations involve higher penalties:
30+ Days Before Travel: Full refund minus administrative fee.
15–29 Days Before Travel: 50% refund of the total package cost.
Less than 15 Days Before Travel: No refund.
4. Refund Processing and Timeline
Mode of Refund:
Refunds are processed to the original payment method used (credit/debit card or bank account).
Processing Time:
Approval from Service Provider: 3–5 business days.
Credit to Customer Account: 7–14 additional business days after approval.
Timelines may vary depending on the Service Provider or the customer’s bank.
Deductions:
The final refund equals the total paid amount minus the Service Provider’s penalty, the Travel Trip Online service fee, and the non-refundable convenience fee.
